Activation settings
By default, the Home Ribbon will automatically show when opening any compatible DWG file. However, in certain situations you might not be interested in using the AseptSoft functionalities, as the DWG file you are working on might describe something else than a P&ID. Thus, you might need to use some settings that will keep AseptSoft deactivated for specific drawings. Access these settings using the Activation settings panel.

In the Auto-Activation settings window, you have the following options:
Automatically activate the AseptSoft ribbon when opening drawings never used with AseptSoft before
Automatically activate the AseptSoft ribbon when opening drawings previously used with AseptSoft
Override the previous settings for the currently open project
Override the previous settings for each of the drawings included in the currently open project
Manual Activation
If AseptSoft is currently disabled for the active P&ID because of the Auto-Activation Settings, and you wish to manually activate AseptSoft, simply click on the Activate AseptSoft PID Ribbon for the current drawing button. This action will activate AseptSoft for this instance only.
