Flow State

Defines how a pipe or an Engineering Item will look like when the Fluidstream Simulations will bring that Fluid State through it.

Example: the flow state ‘water’ a pipe look blue when it passes through it. Also a flow state ‘nitrogen’ will make any pipe look green when it passes through it.

A flow state is defined by the following fields:

  • Name

  • Color

Flow States are used by States and by Sources.

The collection of flow states can be edited in the Flow States window:

Right click any existing flow state to edit duplicate or delete it. To Create a new flow state use the ‘Create new’ button on the bottom.

When editing an existing flow state, you can not change the Name field anymore. If you wish to do that, delete the original flow state, and create a new one with similar properties but new Name.
