🏭 Welcome to AseptSoft
AseptSoft is a powerful plugin for Autodesk AutoCAD that adds Process Design, Algorithm Design, Fluidstream Simulations, Review Sessions, and Export capabilities directly into your P&ID design workflow.
💡 How it works — You launch your P&ID design tool (Autodesk AutoCAD or AutoCAD Plant 3D), and AseptSoft automatically loads as an integrated plugin. No separate application needed — everything happens inside AutoCAD.

🏗️ What You Can Do with AseptSoft
|
Feature |
Description |
Pharma Example |
|---|---|---|
|
🔧 Process Design |
Define processes with sequential steps, assigning valve states and equipment configurations per step |
Model a CIP sequence: Pre-Rinse → Caustic Wash → Intermediate Rinse → Acid Wash → Final Rinse → Drain |
|
📋 Algorithm Design |
Build sequential function charts (SFC/GRAFCET) describing transitions between steps — with visual builders for conditions and actions |
Define transition logic: proceed from "Caustic Wash" to "Intermediate Rinse" when temperature ≥ 85 °C AND timer ≥ 20 min |
|
🌊 Fluidstream Simulations |
Visualize fluid flow through pipes and equipment in real time, based on valve states and fluid sources |
Verify that WFI reaches all spray devices during a rinse phase by observing the color overlay on the P&ID |
|
📦 Equipment Modules |
Group valves into reusable templates (ISA-88) with predefined configurations for rapid step setup |
Create a "Tank Inlet" module containing the inlet valve, vent valve, and pressure transmitter |
|
✅ Review Sessions |
Collaborate with validators through conversations, checklists, and approval workflows |
Conduct a FAT review where each reviewer signs off on individual CIP phases and valve assignments |
|
📤 Export |
Generate PDF annexes, Excel reports, and Word functional specifications |
Export the full CIP process as a PDF annex or a Word specification for the qualification binder |
|
🔀 Version Control |
Branches, commits, merging, undo/redo, and automatic saving |
Create a branch for "CIP Optimization" changes, then merge back after validation |
