Equipment Module Ribbon | AseptSoft Documentation

The Equipment Module Ribbon (titled Equipment Module) is always visible in the AseptSoft interface. Its content panels toggle visibility based on whether an Equipment Module is currently selected in the drawing:

When an Equipment Module is selected: The Configurations panel and Edit EM panel become visible, bound to the selected EM.
When no Equipment Module is selected: The Selection panel becomes visible, showing the Equipment Modules gallery and creation tools.

📌 Important: The ribbon itself is always present — it does not appear/disappear. Only the content within its panels toggles based on the current selection state.

Standard navigation controls for moving through the module workflow. Always visible regardless of selection.

🔁 Processes Gallery	Dropdown to switch between Processes
⬅️ Previous / ➡️ Next	Navigate between Steps
📋 Steps Gallery	Dropdown to select a specific Step

📦 Equipment Modules Panel

👁️ Visibility: Shown when no Equipment Module is selected (selection panel mode).

📁 Equipment Modules	Opens a window listing all Equipment Modules
➕ Create	Creates a new Equipment Module

🏭 Pharma Example: Your CIP skid has three Equipment Modules — CIP Supply Pump, Heat Exchanger, and CIP Return Manifold. Use the gallery dropdown to quickly select any of them.

⚙️ Configurations Panel

👁️ Visibility: Shown when an Equipment Module is selected.

The Configurations panel is the core of the Equipment Module Ribbon, allowing you to manage and apply configurations:

Control	Description
📋 Configurations Gallery	Dropdown showing all configurations for the selected EM. Click to instantly apply a configuration
🎨 States Gallery	Same as the ⚙️ Module Ribbon Live Edit states — assign States to individual items within the EM
💾 Save Current Config	Evaluates the current states and percentages of all items in the EM. Creates a new configuration if no matching one exists, or prompts to rename an existing identical configuration
✏️ Edit Template	Opens the Equipment Module Template editor
📁 Equipment Modules	Opens the Equipment Modules list window
🎯 Select	Selects and centers in AutoCAD each Engineering Item that is part of the current EM

🏭 Pharma Example: Your CIP supply pump EM has three saved configurations: Idle, Circulation, and Drain. Click on Circulation in the Configurations Gallery to instantly set all valves and the pump to their circulation states.

🖍️ Highlight Panel

👁️ Visibility: Always visible. Provides Equipment Module Highlighting functionality for visual identification of Equipment Module boundaries.

👁️ Show highlights for all EMs	Makes all EM highlights visible
🙈 Hide highlights for all EMs	Hides all EM highlights
🗑️ Erase highlights for all EMs	Permanently removes all EM highlights
✨ Spawn missing highlights for all EMs	Creates highlights for EMs that don't have them yet

👁️ Show highlights for this EM	Shows highlights for the selected EM only
🙈 Hide highlights for this EM	Hides highlights for the selected EM only
🗑️ Erase highlights for this EM	Removes highlights for the selected EM only
✨ Spawn missing highlights for this EM	Creates highlights for the selected EM if missing
