Process export generates structured output of your Process step sequences, showing how Engineering Items (valves, instruments, sources) behave across each Step and Condition.
Process exports are available in two formats, each serving a different purpose:

✅ Common Features
Both export formats share these capabilities:
-
Process selection — choose which processes to include
-
P&ID selection — choose which P&IDs to render (only currently open PIDs and PIDs that activate the current Module are available)
-
Step/Condition page generation — configurable rules for how steps and conditions map to output pages
-
Fluid Simulations — optional fluid flow visualization
-
Cumulative updates — re-exporting preserves your prior edits (see Export / Import)
🏭 Pharma Example — SIP Qualification
When qualifying a Steam-In-Place process, engineers typically need both a visual binder (PDF with rendered P&IDs showing valve positions per step) and a structured matrix (Excel with every valve state in tabular form). AseptSoft lets you export both formats from the same process definition, ensuring consistency between the visual annex and the data review sheet.
